A few years ago I drew a series of portraits of immigrants passing through Ellis Island, coming into the United States. I drew them in browns and blacks to mimic the original sepia photographs and I used traditional patterns from their home country for the backgrounds.

This will be the first time I’ve had these images printed professionally. They measure 8 1/2 by 11 on matte fine art paper.
